Free listing or paid launch on Orvian?

Compare what each option offers and how they orbit your discovery journey.

Updated

When you submit a product to Orvian Launch, you choose between a free listing or a paid launch. Both paths lead to discovery, but they reach different orbits.

Your free listing

A free listing gives you a basic profile in our catalogue. Deeper sections—founder story, milestones, screenshots, demo video and comparisons—remain locked to visitors until you upgrade.

Your profile enters a queue and publishes approximately 6-8 weeks out. We require our badge on your website before publication. Your listing carries a nofollow link, which means search engines do not crawl it heavily; free pages sit further from the indexed sphere.

Your paid launch

A paid launch ($5) unlocks your full profile immediately—or on any date you choose within that week. No badge is required. Your link becomes dofollow, and search engines index your page.

From there, optional add-ons let you shape your orbit further. Skip the queue with $9. Boost visibility with featured placement ($19). Expand into extra categories or bundle services if your product orbits multiple ecosystems.

Moving between orbits

Your choice is not fixed. At any time, visit /account/listings to upgrade a free listing to a paid launch. As your product approaches its moment, you can shift course.
