FluentU turns videos into courses while Language Reactor is a browser extension adding dual subtitles on services like Netflix. WinkLingo is a standalone site where users search lines, read study notes on chapters, and see one phrase across many films.
What is spaced review?
Spaced review is a feature where saved lines return a few days later so learners hear the original scene again when about to forget it, rather than drilling once and stopping.
What is YouTube search?
Type a word or phrase and the page finds the second where it is spoken in real YouTube videos, jumps there, and keeps playing on to the next match, with the subtitle lighting up word by word. Video comes from the official YouTube player and the subtitles are the video's own captions. We do not re-host videos, and “Open on YouTube” always takes you back to the original.
