A look at tranzly.io

Tranzly is a WordPress translation plugin. For every language it creates a separate real post carrying its own translated address, so /about/ turns into /de/ueber-uns/. It also adds reciprocal hreflang, canonical addresses and all languages to the sitemap, whether you use WordPress, Yoast SEO, Rank Math, SEOPress or All in One SEO.

Translation goes through DeepL or the AI model you pick, using your own account. Tranzly displays the estimated cost first. It does not count or sell words, so you pay the translation service directly. The free edition on WordPress.org offers unlimited languages, a side-by-side editor, background translation jobs and a status view per language. Corrections made by a person are shielded from re-translation.

Each translated page adds two database queries at most and sets no cookie, so page caches keep working. Tranzly Pro brings the whole WooCommerce shop with prices in the visitor's currency, plus Elementor, Divi, Bricks and other page builders, a glossary, translation memory, translator and reviewer roles, and imports from WPML, Polylang and TranslatePress. AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT can drive translation via 73 built-in tools.

Zinn Digital® Ltd develops, sells and supports Tranzly, and Neil Lock builds it. WordPress.org lists it as active on more than 7,000 sites.

Observed features

  • A distinct post for each language, tied back to the original
  • Translated addresses, with permanent redirects from the previous ones

  • DeepL or an AI model through your own account, with the cost displayed beforehand
  • No word limits, since Tranzly neither counts nor sells words
  • A side-by-side editor plus translation status per language
  • Translation jobs run in the background, with a report and one-click retry
  • Switch languages with a block, menu item, widget, shortcode or floating button

Questions people ask

  1. Does the Tranzly plugin cost nothing to use?

Yes, in its base form. The plugin on WordPress.org covers unlimited languages, linked translations, machine translation through your own DeepL or AI key, translated addresses, hreflang and sitemaps. Tranzly Pro extends it to the whole WooCommerce shop, page builders like Elementor and Divi, bulk translation and team workflow.

  2. Is there a fee based on how many words I translate?

No. Tranzly does not count or sell words. Link your own DeepL, Google, Microsoft or AI account. You see the estimated cost up front, then pay that service directly.

  3. Does adding languages slow my site down?

No real penalty. Each translated page adds two database queries at most. It sets no cookie, so your page caches carry on working.

  4. Can I switch over from WPML, Polylang or TranslatePress?

Yes, using Tranzly Pro. It brings in your languages and the links between translations. The old plugin's data stays untouched, and a single button reverses the import.

  5. Which company is behind Tranzly?

Zinn Digital® Ltd develops, sells and supports Tranzly. Neil Lock builds it.
