How do I claim a listing for my company?

Take ownership of your listing and display the Verified badge by proving you control the company domain.

Updated

Taking ownership

When you find your company's listing on Orvian Launch, you can claim it to become the owner. Open the listing page and select "Claim", or go directly to /claim/<listing>. If the listing was unclaimed, ownership passes to you once verification is complete.

Proving domain control

Choose one method to verify you control the company's domain:

  • Receive a secret link via an address at the company domain
  • Add a DNS TXT record to the root domain
  • Insert a meta tag into your homepage
  • Upload a small verification file to your website

Each approach confirms the same thing: you have authority over the domain. Pick whichever suits your setup.

After verification

Once verified, you gain full editing rights to the listing. The Verified badge appears on your listing—it signals domain control only, never paid placement or voting influence. The badge remains yours as long as you hold the domain.

Verification codes are time-limited and expire after 14 days. If yours has expired, begin the claiming process again to request a fresh code.

Questions people ask

What does the Verified badge mean?
It shows you control the company domain. It is not a ranking or endorsement, and it has no connection to paid features or community votes.
My verification code expired. What now?
Return to /claim/<listing> and start the claiming process again. You will receive a new code with a fresh 14-day window.
Can I claim a listing for another company?
Only if you control that company's domain. The verification methods all confirm domain authority—you cannot claim without it.
